Instructions

  • Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk, mixing until just combined.
  • Divide the batter evenly between two bowls, and tint one red and the other blue using food coloring.
  • Pour the colored batters into the prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
