  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh and plump shrimp for best results.
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter Melted for cooking.

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they're pink and opaque. Deglaze the pan with the white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  • Stir in the parsley and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • When serving, consider garnishing the shrimp scampi with a few lemon wedges and some additional chopped parsley. The dish pairs beautifully with crusty bread, pasta, or a fresh green salad. Enjoy!
