Just A Bite Desserts Debut

Last night we produced our first dessert party for Just A Bite Desserts. Janis’s friend, Diane, had a jewelry and apparel party and asked us to provide the refreshments. It was the perfect venue for our debut as a local catering company. Diane has a beautifully decorated home and her sharp eye for details was evident everywhere. I particularly loved the over-sized iron birdcage with the singing bird!

Like Diane, we have a sharp eye for details. Janis and I worked hard to make sure our table of desserts was both delicious and professionally presented. We met up earlier in the day to do some pre-staging and iron out all the details. With our desserts and plates in tow we laid out everything and made some last minute adjustments that included adding extra chocolate and pink roses. We were going for a simple, yet elegant look so we used an off-white tablecloth, white geometric cake plates and glass serverware. Here are some close-up shots of our delectable desserts below.

VANILLA CAKE BALLS

MINT OREO TRUFFLES

We also served Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Coconut Macaroons, Vanilla Walnuts, Caramel Brownie Bites and Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods. We were flattered when some of the guests wrapped up their favorites to take home for their families!

Here is a photo of the  finished table at Diane’s home.

Debut Dessert Table

We added lush pink roses for a pop of color amidst all the chocolate. I love the juxtaposition of color!

We’d like to give special thanks to Carolyn at Cards with Care for her work on the dessert cards. We thought they added a special touch of elegance to the table.

Dessert Cards

Thank you for reading and sharing in our debut with us. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
